What is ICEmedic?

ICEmedic is a program that provides its members the ability to administer their Emergency Medical Information (EMI) in a centralized system. During an emergency, the paramedics, on the scene, retrieve and use this information before giving the member the needed first aid.

What is ICEmedic.org?

ICEmedic.org is a portal providing paramedics with the members’ relevant emergency information during an incident or in case of an emergency.

How do I apply?

By signing up for an account, your emergency dossier is created. You can now fill your personal details, emergency contact details and medical details that are relevant to paramedics in case of an emergency.

How do I activate my account?

Your account is activated by assigning a subscription to it. The subscription code can be purchased / renewed online or through an authorized reseller.

How do I obtain an emergency alert code and can I have more than one code?

Yes, indeed. Emergency alert codes are available at our portal or though our authorized resellers in different formats such as ICEmedic cards (credit card format), ICEmedic stickers, ICEmedic tags and ICEmedic wristbands. You can assign the codes printed on the purchased item yourself using the portal.

How is my emergency dossier accessible by paramedics in case of an emergency?

Each emergency dossier is identified by a unique emergency alert code (QR Code) allowing an authorized paramedic device to retrieve the emergency dossier of an activated account securely during an emergency.

Who can access my emergency dossier?

Emergency dossier data is divided into categories. Each category has an access classification rule providing different levels of access:

• Private Access: denotes that read-write access is only granted to account holders and after signing into the portal.
• Paramedic Access: denotes that read-only access is granted to authorized paramedic devices after scanning the emergency alert code.
• Public Access: denotes that read-only access is granted to any mobile device / smart phone after scanning the emergency alert code.

Is ICEmedic available on mobile devices?

Absolutely. Next to our portal, you can manage your emergency dossier using our LIFE-ID mobile app. It is available on the App Store for iOS based devices and on Google Play for Android based devices.
